As a Site Inspector, you will work in collaboration with the Civil Team

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Review materials and equipment conditions
• Ability to make decisions in the field with assistance from Englobe supervisor
• Review, develop and properly reference construction drawings
• Maintain an accurate materials list for progress payment
• Ensure safety protocols are met at all times
• Prepare daily summary reports
• Complete topographic surveys using a Total Station or GPS
• Communicate results effectively with onsite personnel, client, residents, stakeholders and Englobe supervisor
• Review shop drawings and confirm product delivery
• Record all field work for as-built drawing creation
• Utilize a construction level to verify elevations, grades, pipe slopes, etc.
• Inspect, survey, test and measure quality and quantity of materials, products, and installations according to specifications and construction drawings

• Ability to work extended hours to meet construction needs
• Experience with construction documents and specifications
• Able to work independently, and within a team, and utilize good judgement
• Minimum 3 years construction experience
• Knowledge and understanding of survey equipment
• Knowledge of Microsoft and AutoCAD software would be an asset
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Eng or PTech designation, other combinations of work and experience may be considered
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
