Job Role: Shopify Developer

Job Type: Full Time/ Contract

We are in search of a talented Shopify Ecommerce Developer with a strong background in data warehousing, analytics, and proficiency in tools such as Segment and Open Replay. Experience with Snowflake is also highly desirable. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance and maintain our Shopify platform, optimize user experiences, and leverage data analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shopify Development:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance our Shopify website to ensure outstanding performance, functionality, and user experience.

- Implement customized themes, plugins, and applications to elevate our ecommerce platform.

- Collaborate closely with designers and marketers to create and optimize product pages, landing pages, and the checkout process.

2. Data Warehousing and Analytics:

- Utilize data warehousing tools, particularly Snowflake, to efficiently store, manage, and analyze extensive datasets.

- Establish and maintain data pipelines for capturing and integrating data from diverse sources, including Shopify, Segment, Open Replay, and other relevant platforms.

- Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide valuable insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and ecommerce performance.

3. Integration with Segment and Open Replay:

- Work seamlessly with Segment and Open Replay to capture and analyze user interactions, clicks, and events on our website.

- Implement event tracking, user segmentation, and other analytics features to gain deeper insights into user behavior and preferences.

4. Optimization and Performance:

- Regularly conduct comprehensive website audits to pinpoint and resolve performance bottlenecks, usability issues, and bugs.

- Dedicate efforts to optimizing website speed, load times, and responsiveness for an exceptional user experience.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product management, to align with business objectives.

- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Present mockups and clearly explain functionality from the viewpoint of customers and business users.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience as a Shopify developer, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing your work.

- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).

- Proven experience working with Vuejs

- Proven experience with data warehousing tools, particularly Snowflake.

- Competence in integrating and working with analytics tools such as Segment and Open Replay.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Prior experience with Shopify Plus.

- Familiarity with SEO best practices.

- Knowledge of ecommerce analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
