The Role: Shipping/Receiving and Asset Management Coordinator

Who are you?

As the Shipping/Receiving and Asset Management Coordinator, you will be a key player in Svante’s journey and success.

You will be a service provider to the team at our Burnaby location, providing daily support in regards to facilities maintenance, shipping and receiving, Asset Management and other duties described below.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• You are highly organized and make quick decisions.
• You are a strong team-player and collaborator, willing to jump-in where needed.
• You have a proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams and diverse groups of stakeholders.
• You will have a minimum five years’ experience in a shipping / receiving and facilities management capacity.

Bonus Skills And Qualifications

• You are Fork-lift certified.

What Success Looks Like in this Role

• You manage proper waste disposal/recycling of chemicals, equipment (electronics, mechanical, large), materials (metal, lightbulb, wood), furniture.
• You will be a member of the Global Supply Chain and Operations team, having a full-time presence at Svante's headquarters.
• You effectively manage shipping and receiving of all goods and supplies, as well as assets.
• You will participate in a Health & Safety and lean culture.
• You manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure proper functionality of building systems and infrastructure.
