General Accountability

Plans and conducts feasibility studies, develops systems business requirement definitions, develops systems designs, directs system build and implementation, and develops methods and procedures for systems of major complexity. The position formulates logical statements of administrative, scientific and/or technical problems and devises solutions.


Key Job Functions

  • Plan, supervise and direct work to ensure the technical team acquires sustainable knowledge, skills and technical competencies and that the goals and objectives of the section are achieved.
  • Lead the technical analysis, provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for business engagement through entire project development lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement new computer systems and enhances old systems by assessing business problems and requirements, and lead the process in providing and implementing computer systems solutions.

Education and Experience

  • Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing/implementing/supporting/maintaining large and complex SAP HANA based system landscapes
  • SAP OS/DB (Basis) and SAP HANA certification is required


Additional Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of configuring and setting up Dell Boomi/SCPI integration from SuccesFactors to SAP Business Suite on-premise systems
  • Expert knowledge of SAP BTP and Cloud Connectors
  • Good understanding of project execution, data security and audit concepts, quality assurance principles and practices as well as structured techniques for systems design and analysis
  • Experience with middleware such as BizTalk will be considered an asset
  • Expert knowledge and the ability to install application server instances including distributed installations
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in ALM using SAP Solution Manager
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP Business Suite on HANA and S/4HANA 1809 or higher.
  • Good communicator and facilitator skills
  • Experience working with SAP on the cloud or SaaS systems will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP CPI will be considered an asset
  • Must possess sound business judgment; highly developed analytical and problem solving skills as well as great documentation skills (system specifications, maintenance schedules etc.).
  • Good documentation and presentation skills
