Responsibilities

§Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, manage the technical team, and guide them in executing research projects effectively.

§Plan and conduct chemical experiments, analyze results, and apply scientific knowledge to define a path forward.

§Perform full chemical and physical analysis on a range of instruments in accordance with the Litus experimental and analytical procedures.

§Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards in the laboratory to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of results.

§Create and execute customer project, establish milestones, and ensure projects are delivered on time.

§Promote a culture of safety and compliance with the Litus policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices within the lab.

§Prepare reports and presentations to share research findings, future experimental plans, and technical documentation for internal and external groups.

§Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging effective communication, and knowledge sharing among team members.

Qualifications

§BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or a related field.

§A minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development, or a lab setting.

§Deep technical knowledge of various chemical research methodologies, techniques, and familiarity with analytical instruments and data analysis software.

§Ability to lead and mentor the technical team creating a positive and motivating work environment.

§Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can adapt to changing priorities and lab needs.

§Familiarity with lab health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe operating environment.

§Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
