Operations at Brex

The Operations team is the bridge between our product and our customers. Our priority is to keep our customers happy and their businesses protected, while delivering vital information back to our internal teams. We are responsible for underwriting all of our customers, while simultaneously managing Brex’s risk exposures. We work cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Data, and Engineering to allow Brex to scale efficiently, keeping quality top of mind.

What You’ll Do

As our EDD/CDD QA Analyst, you will perform quality assurance testing on the reviews performed by our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) team’s to ensure that procedures are being followed as they relate to Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. The right candidate will be able to collaborate effectively and professionally with other operations teams to resolve QA findings. Clear communication is a must in order to ensure ease of comprehension by the supported functions.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly document EDD/CDD review findings in the system of records including all pertinent facts, information, and findings
• Perform QA reviews on complex client relationships

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and be team-oriented
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in KYC/AML/CTF financial compliance and regulations as they pertain to the BSA and the PATRIOT Act
• Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced work environment; strong sense of urgency
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of KYC/AML/CTF typologies, including B2B activity

• Previous FinTech experience
• ACAMS certification
