About The Opportunity


The Legal Operations Analyst Sr role is responsible for driving customer contract updates and continuous improvement of customer contracting within our contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, working with cross-functional teams to meet desired objectives within fast-paced timelines. You’ll problem-solve for creative solutions while managing tasks and projects, collaborating with Commercial Legal Counsel, to drive successful outcomes and support record-keeping of drafts, approvals, and templates in accordance with version control procedures.


What You'll Get To Do


  • Organize, manage, and participate in various Legal projects.
  • Lead the UAT for software releases on behalf of Commercial Legal, testing the cases that have Legal deliverables and collaborating with cross functional teams (including Sales, Technology, and Finance).
  • Participate in requirements gathering and problem-solving with internal stakeholders from cross functional teams to contribute towards solutions/recommendations to meet desired objectives in accordance with required timelines.
  • Post updated contract templates on the customer contract portals in accordance with established version control procedures and required timelines.
  • Support the data collection and reporting of metrics regarding CLM releases and contract updates.
  • Provide support for Ceridian’s CLM system for continuous improvement to enable efficient and accurate customer contracting.
  • Design, manage and faciliate legal enablement programs to provide training on commercial legal processes, tools, contract updates and CLM releases.
  • Draft internal communications of the contract changes/CLM system updates to the business.
  • Working with Commercial Legal Counsel, organize customer contract updates to support business requirements.
  • Manage the timely completion of Legal deliverables in accordance with the required timelines for releases of software for legal contracting tools.

Skills and Experience we value


  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in commerce, legal or related field)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with accuracy and proficiency in accordance with specified timelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Microsoft Office products
  • 5+ years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities
  • Communicates clearly; is effective with verbal and written communications; adapts communication style to needs of the audience
  • Proven ability to assess problems critically and identify possible solutions taking into account the desired objectives and impact of problems and solutions on impacted areas of the organization
  • Demonstrates superior initiative, with minimal direction

The range provided is in Canadian Dollars.
