About This Team
The lululemon Studio iOS app team is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate in-depth ability to solve ambiguous and complex problems, and have a solid understanding of the iOS framework, Swift and Objective-C. The individual will be responsible for contributing to architecture, design, and implementation of products and features, as well as work closely with cross functional teams, and assist / support team members.
a day in the life
As a Senior iOS Developer, the day begins with a daily standup meeting where ongoing tasks and potential roadblocks are discussed. Emphasis is placed on communicating effectively with the team and discussing project developments and solutions. The rest of the day is divided between designing, coding, and debugging the app, focusing on high-quality code production. Collaboration is a very important aspect and is developed through pair programming sessions, which bolsters learning and code reliability.
Each task is an opportunity to learn but also to actively enhance the stability and user experience of the app. Bien gin a senior role, there is also a clear expectation to take the initiative in developing innovative features and improvements based on product requirements, thus driving the evolution of our product forward.
Qualifications

• Experience with multimedia streaming technologies and players
• Superior core skills developing mobile applications for iOS
• Experience architecting iOS app components
• Proficient with Swift Concurrency, including task and thread management
• Experience with technical leadership of projects within a team
• Solid understanding of iOS framework, Swift, and Objective-C
• 5+ years of development experience
• Experience with REST or GraphQL API creation or usage in code
• Firm experience with reactive programming and best practices
• Experience working on multiple iOS projects within a codebase
• Working knowledge of networking and communications protocols and technologies
• Expert knowledge of multiple additional languages
• Demonstrate good code architecture/design principles for a codebase/project
• Experience and good understanding of software systems, operating systems, and underlying technologies
• Experience writing unit tests to support features and logic
• Experience working on teams in an Agile environment

Compensation And Benefits Package
For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $132,200 – 173,500  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering subject to program eligibility requirements.
