Job Description

DarshanCo is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior High-Rise Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Surrey, BC. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of high-rise construction projects from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing large-scale high-rise developments, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong background in construction management.


Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Initiation:


Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and devise mitigation strategies.


Project Execution and Control:


Lead and supervise cross-functional project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and other specialists.

Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

Implement effective project control measures, addressing any issues and deviations promptly.

Regularly communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and management.

Resource Management:


Allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Coordinate procurement and sourcing of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project success.

Oversee subcontractors' work, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and quality expectations.


Budgeting and Cost Management:


Develop detailed project budgets and regularly track expenditures.

Implement cost control measures to manage expenses and prevent budget overruns.

Analyze cost data and provide financial reports to the management team.


Risk Management:


Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans.

Continuously monitor project risks and implement corrective actions when needed.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


Client Relationship Management:


Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Address client concerns, manage expectations, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Cultivate long-term relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.


Quality Assurance and Compliance:


Implement and maintain strict quality control standards throughout the project.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Perform regular inspections to verify construction quality and adherence to specifications.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).


Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on high-rise construction projects.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry best practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
