Job Description
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Hardware Engineer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (on-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
  • Perform circuit analysis LTSPICE, PSPICE, EXCEL.
  • Work with software and hardware team members to analyse and solve design issues.
  • Prepare materials (Block Diagram, Schematic, Design Description, Tolerance Analysis) for design reviews (PDR, CDR).
  • Support product manufacturing team in solving hardware and system issues.
  • Understand and Design new electronic circuits using suitable components and equipment including product prototypes, test interface, test equipment.
  • Analyze the product requirements and create a detailed hardware schematic.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with embedded C is an asset, not mandatory.
  • Experience with LTSPICE, PSPICE are preferred.
  • Experience with schematic design entry in OrCAD is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic design involving microcontroller, microprocessor, Memory Devices, Ethernet, ADC, SPI, I2C, USB2.0, RS232, RS422, A429, Discrete I/Switching Power Regulators.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Debugging Manufacturing issues is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • EMI/EMC, Thermal, Vibration Issues Debugging experience is an asset.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Slight understanding of working embedded software and hardware is an asset.
  • Prior working experience in an Aerospace Company is an asset, not mandatory.
  • Experience of working with RF interfaces like Wi-Fi, BLE, Cellular modules is an asset.
  • Experience with hardware development using Test racks and Test Equipment in Manufacturing.
