Senior Front End Developer

The RE Agency is looking for an in-house Front End Developer with extensive start-up business knowledge and expertise. In this role, you will be expected to manage an ongoing project to completion. This calls for great attention to detail and solid organizational skills. This will also be an opportunity for people who are enthusiastic about working for a fintech startup.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Testing and debugging on both the front- and back-end
• Receiving design handoffs from designers and implementing them on the website
• Troubleshoot bugs and complex system requirements
• Implement designs and UI/UX improvements
• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of the project
• Responsible for project execution from conception to finished product
• Designing user interactions with frontend code
• Translate product strategy into detailed development requirements for prototype, construction, and final product for the development team
• Making sure websites are mobile-optimized

Requirements

• Strong command of best practices, design patterns, and system architecture tradeoffs
• Possess proficiency with APIs and API integrations
• Desire to do the best thing for the project and the business at all times
• Capable of working effectively both individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to understand, diagnose, and effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Senior engineer-level proficiency with ReactJS and MobX
• Experience Ruby experience for the backend, and Heroku expertise for CI/CD, and GCS for the database
