Role Description:


We are looking for a Senior Consultant in Business Continuity (Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Continuity Planning) to provide ongoing support to the operations of our client. This is a one year mandate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating IT contingency plans covering all clinical and administrative areas of the organization. You will also be required to develop and coordinate a comprehensive testing plan to restore critical environments within the clients architecture.


Responsibilities:


  • Management of Windows, Citrix, VMWare, etc. environments: You will work in an environment that utilizes technologies such as Windows, Citrix, and VMWare. You must have a strong knowledge of these environments and be able to effectively integrate them into IT contingency plans.
  • Development of a comprehensive testing plan: You will be responsible for building and coordinating a comprehensive testing plan to restore critical environments within the clients architecture. This testing plan will assess the effectiveness of business continuity measures, while adhering to the required timelines dictated by business and clinical needs. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to plan, execute, and evaluate these tests.
  • Compliance with standards and regulations: You will ensure that IT contingency plans comply with applicable standards and regulations. You will stay informed about industry best practices and ensure that clients policies and procedures align with these standards.
  • IT contingency planning and coordination: As a Senior Consultant in Business Continuity, you will work closely with technical and operational teams to develop comprehensive IT contingency plans. These plans will cover all clinical and administrative areas of the client, ensuring the recovery and/or maintenance of IT and IS systems in the event of an incident or business interruption.
  • Documentation in French: You will be responsible for documenting IT contingency plans in French. Excellent written and verbal proficiency in French is essential for this position.
Requirements


  • Thorough knowledge of standards and regulations related to Business Continuity.
  • Excellent understanding of Windows, Citrix, VMWare, etc. environments.
  • Bilingualism is preferred, with a higher proficiency in French than in English.
  • Practical experience in coordinating and conducting business continuity tests.
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken, for documentation and internal communications.
  • This is a full-time position, with a two-day per week office schedule. The first week will be entirely in the office.
  • Strong experience in Business Continuity (DRP, BCP), with specific expertise in IT contingency planning.
