Security Guard Jobs

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills (English)
• Excellent Communication Skills - English - Written & Verbal Excellent Deportment
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Flexible to work Full Rotating Shifts (Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)
• Able to respond calmly and effectively in stressful situations
• Demonstrate a positive and self-motivated attitude
• Team Players - positive, honest, & motivated
• Above-average Computer skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Proficient Computer skills (Windows 10, MS Office, Outlook)
• 1 year of security experience at a tactical site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all areas
• Complete investigations and incident reports
• Patrol the interior and exterior of the building to create a reliable and safe presence
• Demonstrate friendly and personalized customer service as a frontline representative of Sigma Security
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Thorough record-keeping, report writing, and observation skills
• Demonstrate judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Ability to provide first aid and medical response to an individual when required
• Adequate strength and endurance to perform the required duties
• Frequently inspect the facility for damage and report to management
• Ability to write detailed incident reports for all emergency and day-to-day activities.
• Operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• 12-hour shift
• Night shift
• 8-hour shift
• Holidays
• Day shift
• 10-hour shift
• Morning shift
• Every Weekend

Experience:

• Security: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Ontario Security License (preferred)

Work Location: ON SITE
