Security Guard - Full Time (Casual)

• Minimum six months experience required.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the security of properties and answering alarms during patrols.

Job Details

• Warehouse / Distribution center environment.
• Full Time
• Casual position (up to 4 months)
• Pay rate $17 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday

• Nights (12:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
• Mornings (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Afternoons (4:00 PM - 12:00 PM)

What You’ll Be Doing

Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.

• Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapment/intrusion alarms) Communicating regularly with patrons/clients.
• Completing reports and memo book entries regularly.

• Ability to retain process and procedures and accurately respond to emergencies.
• Ability to intervene quickly and manage stress.
• Sense of observation and responsibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience minimum 6 months.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Computer skills and ability to write a report.
• Excellent communication skills (written/oral).
• Valid Security Guard license and first aid card (CPR level C).
