Job Description
If you are looking for a job where you will impact people's daily lives, this is the one for you! As a Security Officer in a commercial site, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers and visitors for some of the biggest brands!


Position: Security Guard, Commercial (Full time)


Location: 1020 Osprey Rd, Ancaster


Schedule: Mon-Fri 16:00 to 00:00


Hourly Pay Rate: $16.84


Training pay rate: $15.50 for 16 hours


What does a Security Guard in Ancaster do?


  • Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
  • Interior and exterior patrols
  • Process inbound/outbound truck
  • Inbound/Outbound truck logging and inspection
  • Respond to internal alarms
  • Ensuring all employees are screened in and out of the Sorting area
  • Security Screening with Handheld metal detectors
  • Take calls at security desk
  • Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Ancaster?


  • Ability to perform site patrols
  • Previous logistics experience an asset
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
  • First AID CPR
  • Valid Provincial Security Guard license
  • Strong computer skills
