Security Guard $23 Kelowna (Temp)

Commissionaires BC is currently hiring a Security Guard to temporarily cover a position from June 01 until August 29, 2023.

Shift Times:

• Mon to Fri: 0800 - 1600

Your Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years working in security
• You hold a valid BC Security License
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Your nice to haves:

• De-escalation skills
• OFA Level 1
• Non Violent Crisis Intervention training
• Experience using Tracktik software
• Ability to work more than one site.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a safe environment for residents, business owners and those visiting Kelowna.
• Continuous foot and vehicle patrols of downtown Kelowna.
• Handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner.
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts.
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor.
