What We’re Looking For


We’re searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Housekeeper in Big White, BC. This person is a hard-working individual who will embody our values while maintaining the supreme cleanliness of our homes.


These are seasonal positions. We are hiring for this position now for the summer and employment is expected to end around September 2023. Hours can and will vary weekly and seasonally based on business needs. Opportunity to remain employed for the winter months also. Please note that this position is located in Big White Ski Resort, BC and is ideally suited to those living on the mountain, although transport from Kelowna is potentially available for the right candidates.


Compensation

  • $20 CAD / hour


What You’ll Do


  • Collect and remove trash and debris
  • Identify and note any damages to homes. Create maintenance tickets as necessary
  • Professionally clean and maintain Vacasa properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
  • Maintain hot tubs as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training
  • Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings
  • Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different
  • Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products
  • Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring homes are clean and cared for
  • Meet and maintain required Housekeeping metrics


Skills And Position Requirements


  • Reliable transportation desirable but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds
  • Weekend availability
  • Smartphone and personal email address
  • No experience required, we're happy to train you!
  • Attention to detail


Work Environment and Physical Demands


  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • The physical demands described here are an example of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Occasional need to perform extra housekeeping tasks and/or inspection duties
  • Reach overhead and below the waist
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
