Search Engine Optimization Analyst

***This is a remote role with a focus on Ontario, Canada area who is looking to join a industry leading Marketing Agency in the US!

We are looking for a Jr. SEO Specialist to work with our Sr. SEO Account Manager and assist with our client portfolio. If you have some background in SEO and are looking to expand on that background, then this may be the position for you. This is a junior role and for someone who is hungry to grow!

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage client project plans on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Execute a strategic outreach plan that expands the company's off-site presence by forging strong relationships with content creators, editorial teams, webmasters, and industry experts
• Create detailed, well-constructed deliverables.
• Collaborate on SEO strategy and day-to-day interactions with internal teams.
• Support SEO team lead
• Perform targeted and strategic outreach for backlinks.
• Perform Technical SEO audits for clients and new business.
• Work with a team of experienced marketers to implement strategies.
• Educate yourself and clients on the latest developments in organic search and convey potential business impacts.
• Analyze reports and turn them into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the business development team.
• Optimize and update website content to improve search engine visibility and organic rankings

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work within relatively standard 9-5 hrs (EST)
• Demonstrate vast expertise in content strategy / link building (Preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (Preferred)
• STRONG communication/presentation skills
• 1-2+ years experience in a role primarily focused on SEO. (Client-facing position in an Agency Environment is Preferred)
• CMS experience (WordPress experience is Preferred)
• Expertise with Google Analytics, Search Console and other reporting platforms
• Proven experience in content creation, including writing high-quality articles, blog posts, and social media content that engages target audiences (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of common SEO tools (SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
