Job Description
Term Position: Mid October/November – March


Hours : 15 – 20 hours/week


Do you have a passion for working organization and supporting youth within your community? Then we may have a role for you! Reporting to the Executive Director, Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation as well as the Community Program Coordinator, the School Presentation Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and communicating player appearances across Saskatchewan for the Rider Reading and Win with Wellness program.


Requirements


Where will your talents be focused? (includes but is not limited to:)


  • Monitor booking requests, and scheduling them in the most logical fashion. Taking into consideration both programs, the months in which they operate, each play’s schedule and monthly appearance allocation
  • Follow up with schools and players as appearances approach with details and send reminder regarding scheduled appearances
  • Track player appearances to ensure they are fulfilling their contracts
  • Coordinate and schedule appearances for the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Rider Reading and Win with Wellness programs running from December/January – April
  • Follow up with schools and teachers to gather feedback and stories to assist in further support of the program
  • Rescheduling appearance that must be moved or cancelled during the duration of the program deliver
  • Coordinate and communicate the initial reach out to schools on the Win with Wellness waiting list


What is needed to be successful in this role?


  • Must own computer
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Programs (excel & calendar)
  • Have a flexible schedule
  • Be able to work on their own (self-starter and drive)
  • Have clear communication
