Title: Report Developer

Our client has an immediate need to hire an Report Developer on a 1 year contract (+1 yr extension), reference number RFR-0592, for their Regina, SK location. The position must be onsite

Things You Need to Have:

• Demonstrated experience conducting business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.
• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Reporting tools, such as: BI Publisher, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, HCM Extracts, Infolets, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, and Oracle Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience with a minimum of at leastthree (3) Oracle Cloud Reporting tools, including BI Publisher, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, HCM Extract, Infolets, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, or Oracle Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience developing technical specificationsand unit testing documents for report development work.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud computing platforms including Oracle Fusion Cloud,and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience in Oracle report development work including report creation, report testing, report modification and report deployment

What you will be doing:

The Enterprise Business Modernization Project division of our client is looking for one Report Developer(s) to join the development and testing of operational reports for the Financial, Human Capital Management and Supply Chain Management modules of the EBMP. The position will be full-time, located 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Report Developer’s role is to participate in all development and testing activities related to operational report for the new platform. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Oracle Cloud reporting tools and data structures are critical to successful performance in this role.

• Participate in report development tasks liaising between business units, data stewards, and development teams;

• Report development work including report creation, report testing, report modification and report deployment;

• Ensure that report development tasks meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues;

• Ensure that developed reports are aligned with project and standards and best practices;

• Develop technical specifications and unit testing documents for report development work;

• Follow standards and processes to support report development tasks and initiatives;

• Identify common patterns and document best practices for reports; and

• Participate in the testing phase of the project to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
