Job Description

We have several opportunities for US-based and experienced nurses who wish to relocate to the United States from Canada, or Mexico on a TN Visa (Visa sponsored)/ H1B & Green card Sponsored for Canadian, Mexican, UAE, India, and Saudi Candidates.

With eight hospitals and over 18,000 team members, we are the largest community-based, not-for-profit, locally governed health system in the State of Washington. Facilities are in close vicinity to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Below is a list of our current open positions:

  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Cardiac ICU
  • Operating room
  • NICU
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU)


Qualifications:

  • We can take Nurses who have Medsurg, ER, or any other experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience working in a large hospital (trauma/acute care)
  • Must have passed the NCLEX exam - this is a nursing exam for international hires
  • Must have started a VISA SCREEN certificate process (this is basically authenticating their credentials)
  • Must be ready to take an English exam (IELTS - like TOEFL) if they don't already have this
  • Valid WA license or compact RN license
  • MUST have a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school


Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1-3 years of recent nursing (RN) experience in a tertiary hospital setting (minimum 100 beds).


Education/Licenses/Certifications:

The following items are required to be current by your start date: WA state RN license, Health Care Provider level CPR certification, and a BLS card. In addition, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or PEARS certification may be required by the facility or department. Specialty certification preferred.


NCLEX: In order to practice nursing in the United States, all nursing school graduates must first take and pass the registered nurses (RN), National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). The following resources for NCLEX testing are not affiliated with MultiCare Health System.


TN Visa and Student Visa Holders: TN Visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican citizens who are licensed as RNs in the U.S. and F-1 visa/Student visa holders with current Form I-20s with U.S. RN licenses.


Our client is cap exempt - so they can hire H1B's throughout the year - no quota limits.


*Ideally, candidates who have worked abroad before (UAE, Saudi, etc) will probably have all these requirements.

For International/ Indian Candidates: PROCESS

  • Candidates can bring a spouse or young child on an H4 visa with them
  • H1B visa will be handled by the client and will not cost the candidate any $$
  • After 90 days they will get another $10k as a sign-on bonus minus federal taxes
  • Once Visa is approved, the candidate will go to the embassy in India to get a stamp to travel
  • Candidates will sign a two-year contract with the client and will have to pay back all visa-related expenses if they quit before their contract is completed
  • The candidate will be asked to complete an online application
  • If the client is interested, they will coordinate 2 video calls - first one HR, second department manager
  • The amount of $10,000 minus federal taxes (they can use it towards their expenses) - will be given along with the first paycheck. (biweekly pay)
  • Once you apply candidates - Vikki Doss (our international recruitment manager) will do a video call o determine fit and present them to the hiring manager
  • The candidate will have to pay for the flight ticket and initial expenses (which will be reimbursed through a relocation amount once they start employment in the USA)
  • The client will file for a green card after 90 days of employment. H1 B can be extended beyond 6 years till the priority date becomes current for an Indian citizen.
  • If selected, candidates will be sent questions from the legal department to determine visa approvals
  • Once that is completed, the client will make a formal offer and will start collecting documentation for an H1 visa filing.


THESE ALL THE POSITIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR AN H1B - under specialty occupation. We can ONLY take Nurses who have experience in these departments.
