Canadian Health Labs (CHL) is seeking Pediatrics Registered Nurses for travel assignments throughout predominantly French New Brunswick communities, providing health services in a hospital setting. The Registered Nurse monitors and delivers nursing care to clients as directed by the nursing care plan and follows all required internal and external professional practice standards.
This is a TRAVEL NURSING role. Applicants must be willing to be deployed in New Brunswick for 30 days or more. We offer flexible agreement lengths, with long-term deployment incentives available. All travel, accommodation and provincial nursing licensure costs are 100% covered by CHL.
Qualifications Needed
  • Diploma/Degree (RN) and proof of good standing with the governing body of your province.
  • Microsoft Windows-based programs competency.
  • Being Bilingual in French and English in a medical setting is a strong asset.
  • As a PEDS Registered Nurse, we require one (1) year of full-time experience in a Pediatrics Unit.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of patient and family-centred care.
  • Proficient clinical skills in assessment, physical examination, and nursing intervention.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and recognize when consultation is needed.
  • Ability to establish relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
  • Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
CERTIFICATIONS
  • Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per provincial Covid-19 Immunization and Management Policy.
Criminal records and vulnerable sector checks will be required.
