Job Mission:

Ensuring that our product quality is at least 1% better than the similar products available in the market through quality control, optimization and training practices

Job requirements and details:

• Comfortable working with a microscope for long hours
• 1-2 years of experience
• Comfortable with insects
• Remuneration: Annual salary- CAD $38,000 to $45,000
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in biological sciences
• Two weeks of paid vacations
• Able to start the day at 5 am

Job Accountabilities:

• Conducting receiving quality inspections (population counts and visual inspections) and communicating their results to related teams
• Carrying out emergence tests within the IOBC guidelines
• Reportingsurplus/shortages based on incoming bio quality analysis and communicating to related teams
• Communicating weekly quality results with production and sales teams
• Conducting intrinsic bug vitality to monitor egg laying
• Conducting outgoing quality inspections and communicating their results

We are replacing Hierarchy with Self-managed teams where the authority is distributed instead of centralized to managers in traditional organizations. This requires opening the accounting books to a level that is not common in other companies.
