CHALLENGES TO BE MET

• Other duties as required.
• Establish and maintain accurate work records and documents
• Ensure awareness of priorities and report on progress and issues in a timely manner
• Develop and execute test automation through TestComplete, Jscript, Jmeter and other tools
• Deliver work in line within agreed to effort estimates and timetable
• Work with Test Lead, Business Analysts and Business Users to review business requirements, technical designs, and project test plans
• Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
• Execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing.
• Participate in Defect Triage Meeting
• Execute API test using various test methods (GET, POST & DELETE) and share output with the team.
• Develop and configure test automation scripts and execute stability and performance tests.
• Participate in performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams.
• Understand API requirements and write test cases accordingly.
• Participate in the development of specific test schedules and test cases

• Good planning and organization skills with attention to detail
• 2 + years of experience in development of test automation suites.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a team setting and serve value
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of TestComplete from Smartbear a definite asset
• Good understanding of quality methodologies and how testing best practices apply
• General understanding of the software life cycle methodologies
• Must have experience working in distributed and web environments
• Experience in backend testing using SQL
• Experience with Jmeter and Postman is an asset
• Someone who listens to diverse perspectives with an empathetic attitude
• University degree or college diploma in computer science or related technical field
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, TFS or other agile/defect tracking tools
• Proficiency in using REST & SOAP framework for testing purposes.
• Someone who recognizes our customers as our most important stakeholders
• A lifelong learner that is performance driven
• Someone who continuously takes initiative and embraces change.
• Good problem solver
• Proficiency in coding using C#, VB, Java, JavaScript, JScript.

Work Model
We have adopted a hybrid model, leveraging the best of remote and in-person work. This work model however can differ depending on roles and leaders.
