Project Manager (Utilities) Jobs

Agilus has partnered with our client (based in the GTA ), a consultant in the Utilities sector, which provides a full range of power system solutions to meet the needs of municipalities, utilities and others. They are searching for intermediate and senior Project Managers with relevant utilities experience.

The project manager will be responsible for project management and advisory services for internal and external clients across multiple projects. You will lead the management and oversight of all aspects of a project’s delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Define project and design budgets, reporting of costs including negotiating agreements with management, sub-contractors and clients in order to achieve financial targets and goals
• Support of business development activities including developing client relationships and preparation of proposals and supporting development of new service offerings
• Contribute to resource management including forecasting resource levels
• Manage contract specifications and documentation
• Integration and management of multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality technical output
• Manage and control all aspects of projects to achieve the Client’s goals; Apply formal project management process, techniques and procedures to manage schedule, budget and quality objectives
• Liaise with clients, project team members and external authorities regarding projects

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering preferred) with minimum 2 years of project management in an engineering environment
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and have high resistance to stress
• Strong proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience in working with project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software) will be an advantage
