Job description:
Given the exponential change facing our utilities clients, Capgemini Canada is looking for an experienced senior consultant to support utility customer experience and transformation mandates. This role will support both client facing CX delivery engagements and the successful pursuit of sales proposals and activities.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience supporting utilities in their customer transformation across business processes, innovation programs, smart metering, sustainability and grid modernization. Equally important as domain expertise, the ideal candidate will also bring a positive attitude to collaborate with others, and a willingness to learn. Transformation mandates require a multi-disciplinary lens across multiple Capgemini service lines, and candidates with experience bringing these elements together will be preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with members across the Solution Team to leverage vertical and horizontal solutions, accelerators, and best practices.
  • Work with multiple Capgemini service lines (insights and data, cloud, advisory, OCM, Invent) to develop targeted customer service delivery offerings in smart metering and utilities
  • Develop and present briefs for the Utilities Center of Excellence to build market points of view for CX transformation
  • Act as a Solution Owner for opportunity pursuit/solution teams, leveraging the sales support function to form pursuit teams
  • Delivery lead or delivery team member on client customer engagements for scope including market research, CX business process re-design, CX innovation programs (AMI, EV, smart grid, rate structures, sustainability)
  • Support sales team in expanding Capgemini’s market presence and winning Utilities CX opportunities
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Customer innovations related to:
  • An ability to learn the different service lines and portfolios at Capgemini, and how they come together to support transformational engagements for our clients
  • Smart grid modernization
  • Rate programs and rebates
  • Familiar with customer satisfaction trends and programs as well as utility performance standards
  • A positive attitude to support team members, and strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate and write synthesis of recommendations and findings to manager, director, and VP-level audiences
  • Energy programs related to electric vehicles, distributed energy resources, load disaggregation
  • Knowledge of core utility customer processes including, but not limited to meter-to-cash, contact center activities, outage management, account move’s, digital self-service processes
  • Knowledge of common customer utility technology platforms
  • Experience prioritizing customer initiatives based on return on investment, corporate strategy, execution feasibility or other criteria
NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of common industry back-end technology platforms
  • Experience supporting utility regulatory filings and general rate applications
  • Building ROI business cases for utility customer initiatives
  • Experience developing and implementing sustainability, net-zero and carbon reduction initiatives for utilities.
