for Project Coordinator

TROES Corp is a Canadian advanced energy storage technology company focusing on distributed energy storage products and systems. We develop, design, manufacture and deliver high-performance energy storage systems that integrate our proprietary Battery Modules, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Enclosures and Power Conversion System (PCS).

Main Duties:

Project Planning and Implementation:

  • Ensure the project plan is well-structured and aligned with overall objectives.
  • Assist in creating project delivery and deployment plans.
  • Understand the project plan, activities, milestones, manpower allocations, and budgets.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Communicate adjustments to schedules and potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Keep customers, internal teams, and management informed about project developments.
  • Provide regular status reports on project milestones and progress.

Schedule Management and Coordination:

  • Assist in scheduling and organizing project activities and resources.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential delays, taking proactive measures to address them.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Risk Management:

  • Analyze project risks and opportunities.
  • Identify potential issues and roadblocks in advance.
  • Follow up on actions required to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Communicate project status and updates to all participants effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.

Client and Partner Management:

  • Effectively manage relationships with clients and partners.
  • Address any concerns or queries promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Understand their expectations and ensure timely delivery of commitments.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement necessary corrective actions to maintain quality throughout the project.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards.
  • Monitor adherence to project requirements and specifications.

Resource Allocation and Optimization:

  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Optimize resource utilization to achieve project objectives effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Suggest and implement enhancements to increase overall project efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the project management workflow.

Project Closure and Evaluation:

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to gather feedback and insights for future improvements.
  • Facilitate the project closure process, including documentation and handovers.

Requirements:

Technical Background: A strong technical background, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, is required to effectively understand and manage engineering projects.

Collaborative Nature: The ability to work cooperatively with the employer and other team members is essential for successful project coordination.

Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to learn and adapt to new work-related software is crucial in optimizing project management processes.

Effective Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for conveying project updates and following instructions accurately.

Trustworthiness and Confidentiality: The candidate should demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information while providing technical assistance to clients and team members.

Strong Learning Orientation: A proactive attitude towards learning new knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends is highly valued.

  • Nice to Have: B2B Engineering Project Management Experience: Previous experience in B2B engineering project management is considered an advantage. Having experience in managing projects in a business-to-business context will be beneficial in understanding client needs and delivering successful outcomes.
