Job Description
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in heavy earth works projects and looking for a challenging role as a Project Coordinator? Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a dedicated team member to join us in our pursuit of excellence. Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and presentations
  • Support the project team on large interdisciplinary projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making and project-planning processes
  • Support project communications, including internal and external stakeholder updates
  • Assist in tracking project deliverables, milestones, and action items
  • Schedule of 11 days on 3 off rotation, camp accommodations provided.
  • Assist with procurement tasks, including vendor management, bid evaluations, and contract administration
  • Participate in project meetings, workshops, and site visits as required

Requirements


  • Familiarity with Potash-mining projects is preferred
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration is an asset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field is an asset
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator on earthworks projects is a must
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
