  • Administering and coordinating delivery of programming offered through the incubator.
  • Planning and conducting outreach activities within the campus community with the goal of attracting participants to the incubator programs and events.
  • Ensuring participant and stakeholder contacts are up to date.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
  • Coordinating and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote and foster campus community engagement.
  • Maintaining Opus website and managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), including developing content and maintaining social media calendar.
  • Assisting in recruiting presenters and speakers to deliver programming.
  • Overseeing day-of execution of programs and events.
  • Creating promotional materials such as presentations, social media graphics, videos, and signage to promote Opus to stakeholder audiences.

Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years’ direct experience as an entrepreneur or within entrepreneurial environments, or an equal combination of work and educational experience. Previous program management, client services, and event coordination is required. Social media coordination experience is desirable.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with website design is an asset.
  • Superior written and oral communications, including effective editing skills.
  • Must possess an understanding of the nature and challenges inherent to starting and growing a venture, and also hold a high level of knowledge and expertise in the strategy and process of technological innovation.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
