Production Manufacturer Jobs

Lynden Door Canada of Yarrow, BC is currently hiring a full-time Manufacturer. The role of this position is to build doors with parts, prepping tasks and general cleanup.

This position works Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The hourly rate is between $18 and $19 depending on experience.

Requirements For a Manufacturer

• Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production
• Knowledge of door components and assembly techniques is preferred, but not a requirement
• Willing to take direction
• Willingness to pursue additional training to enhance job skills
• Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a door shop is preferred, but not a requirement
• Carpentry and woodworking experience is preferred, but not a requirement
• Be comfortable with and safely use the equipment
• Able to read basic shop drawings
• Physically ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand and/or be on your feet for an entire scheduled shift
