We are currently seeking Production Clerks to join our day, evening and weekend teams in Anjou. These are permanent, full-time positions. Come join us! Weekly pay, free parking, subsidized cafeteria Fresh fruit available daily for all employees and the possibility of purchasing large quantities of fruits and vegetables at advantageous prices Clean, bright and safe environment Fast growing agri-food company Hours and Salary: Day: $16.25/hr Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm; Evening: $17.15/hr ($16.25 + $0.90 evening premium) Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m; Weekend: $17.25/hr ($16.25 + weekend premium of $1.00) from Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm. ***IMPORTANT: Shuttle service available for day and evening shifts from selected metro stations to our warehouse. Details provided upon hiring. Reporting to the Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for: Manually lifting, moving and transporting cases of fruits and vegetables. Sorting heavier products (removing products that do not meet expected standards - freshness, quality, etc.). Portion and pack fruits or vegetables in accordance with the pace of the conveyors to ensure smooth operation of the production line. Stack boxes of sorted and packaged produce in a specific order Assemble and disassemble pallets of produce using proper techniques Your profile and talents Good physical condition (10-50 pounds); Spoken language: French, English, Spanish, Creole or Arabic; Ability to work on your feet for long hours in a cold and humid environment (between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius); Manual dexterity and ability to perform tasks at a production rate; Rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, teamwork and collaboration, availability and flexibility.
