The Production Assembly Technician position is responsible for assembling enclosures and electronic components for digital equipment.
The primary objective of this position is to pre-build assembly component pieces to customer specifications.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn new things, attention to detail, and a strong and steady work ethic. Experience in manufacturing is not essential.

Responsibilities include:
Install Pre-build Assembly Components
- Follow work orders to install all pre-build assembly component pieces.
Quality Assurance
- Perform a general quality control check to ensure that all specifications and quality standards are met.
Shipping/Receiving
- Detailed recording and packing of orders for shipping. Some shipping/receiving duties.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong organization/time management skills.
- Team player.
- Understanding of the production process in terms of quality and quantity.
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance.

- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

- Cooperative attitude and willingness to perform a wide range of duties.

- Excels in a team-oriented workplace.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle an asset.
- Ability to take initiative.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand or sit for more than 8 hours in shifts.
- Carry, push, and pull static loads of 25 to 50lbs.
- Lift 20lbs from floor to waist.
- Lift 20lbs from waist to shoulders.
- Climb a ladder and/or stairs multiple times per shift.
- Lift up to 20lbs above shoulders.
- Reach forward and overhead at or beyond a full arm’s length.
