THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to join our team and impact millions of people. You will work closely with Product & Community Management, Design, Engineering, and Sales to design and build consumer Internet services that deliver unique value. You will also lead go-to-market planning and execution based on a deep understanding of consumer needs and industry trends, and craft messaging that resonates with our visitor, member, and creator audiences. If you enjoy influencing products at their earliest stages, and working to ensure that they have the greatest impact for the most people, then this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Execute marketing campaigns and recommend & supervise supporting resources, e.g., contractors
• Partner with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to design solutions that address those pain points
• Partner with design to develop collateral & assets
• Analyze the competitive market to size opportunities and inform our product & distribution strategy
• Develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for key launches
• Identify & understand our target users and their pain points

ABOUT YOU

• Self-directed with a record of taking complex projects from start to finish
• Experience launching and marketing multiple online consumer products
• High adaptability in an experimental, fast-paced environment
• 3+ years marketing experience in a consumer Internet company Product marketing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an innate ability to listen
• Experience working with technical teamsStrong project management skills and ability to multitask

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU ALSO HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or an MBA (not required)
• Ability to travel to Canada or the US periodically
• Technical curiosity – you are passionate about learning new technologiesExperience with app store optimization and app growth strategies
• Demonstrated interest in communities & hobbies
• Experience working with startups
• Experience working closely with data & analytics
