Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer based in Toronto, ON. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing PLC programs and control systems. The PLC Programmer will also support PLC installations, modifications, and upgrades, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise. The PLC Programmer will maintain detailed documentation to ensure that all programming standards and requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in the design, development, testing, and implementation of PLC programs and control systems
• Knowledge of PLC hardware and software, including Allen-Bradley, GE and Siemens platforms
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Experience with HMI programming and configuration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other engineers and project managers on-site
• Additional qualifications in Automation and Control Systems or PLC programming are an asset
• Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller programming and troubleshooting
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
