Job Description
Annex 21 Trainee for 2 years. Any candidate who does not hold a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be a considered as a trainee Annex 21 and as such will be paid a percentage of the top of the band.


The Role


University Hospital Monklands is looking for an enthusiastic pharmacy technician or student technician to join our pharmacy team! The successful candidate will provide pharmaceutical technical services on a rotational basis between within dispensary, clinical and our aseptic unit.


We are looking for a candidate who consistently demonstrates professional behaviours and the core values of NHS Lanarkshire; respect, fairness, quality and working together. It is an exciting time at University Hospital Monklands with a new modern aseptic pharmacy unit, ongoing development of ward roles for Pharmacy Technicians and great progress being made towards the replacement of the current hospital site.


We welcome both qualified applicants and those looking to train to be a Pharmacy Technician.


To apply for this exciting position as a student you must have a minimum qualification of:


National 5 grades in Biology, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or equivalent


Or


NC Applied Sciences (Must be Chemistry and Biology based)
