We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who possesses a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to continuously learn and expand your knowledge while demonstrating exceptional accuracy and keen attention to detail.

As our Pharmacy Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

Medication Dispensing: Assist Pharmacists in accurately and safely dispensing prescription medications by reviewing and interpreting prescription orders, counting or measuring medications, and labeling containers properly

Prescription Processing: Receive prescription orders from patients or healthcare professionals and enter the necessary information into the pharmacy computer system. Verify insurance coverage and perform relevant administrative tasks to ensure the timely processing of medications

Prescription Compounding: Prepare compounded medications as directed by pharmacists, following established procedures while ensuring accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients

Inventory Management: Assist in managing pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, organizing medication shelves, and placing orders for medications and supplies, as needed

Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications, prescription orders, and patient information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Patient Care: Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Assist patients with pick-up and drop-off processes, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practices, medications, and relevant laws and regulations

Your resume should outline the following experience:

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication dispensing, and inventory management
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Current Pharmacy Technician certification/licenses
