Our client, Pharmasave, has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to be their Pharmacy Communication Specialist and join their dynamic team in Langley, British Columbia.

What You Will Be Doing

• Remain up to date on the latest developments in pharmacy and healthcare, including new drugs, regulations, and trends;
• Writes as well as collects, compiles, edits, and formats content for monthly e-newsletter;
• Maintain and manage resources on the Pharmasave internal Pharmacy Portal;
• Review and edit content produced by other contributors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency;
• Research industry-related topics and write content related to pharmacy and healthcare that meets Pharmasave’s standard for accuracy, tone, and style;
• Create simplified step-by-step how-to documents, flowcharts, copy development and revision of program materials including memos, presentations, manuals, guides, etc.
• Develop training tools and resources that support core pharmacy programs;

What You Bring To The Table

• Ability to write for general audience with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat;
• Strong knowledge on the current scope of practice for pharmacist across Canada;
• 2 years experience with Kroll Windows dispensary software an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in retail pharmacy, with a particular interest in scope of practice and pharmacy services;
• Superior written and oral communication skills including editing, proofreading and ability to write content for various purposes and audiences
• Registered as a pharmacist in good standing with at least one Canadian Provincial Regulatory Body;
