Job Description
TheKey formerly Home Care Assistance is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to become a part of our team and join our mission of Changing the Way the World Ages.


We are currently hiring PSW’s (a.k.a. Caregivers) who have good interpersonal skills and a good command of the English language. The ideal candidate should be one who can provide mental and social stimulation to our mostly elderly or senior clients, in addition, to be able to fulfil technical PSW / Caregiver duties. Immediate opportunities are available for long-term clients with steady, predictable deployment schedules.


: PSWs in Toronto region whose main responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain the autonomy of clients. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous and total care conditions.


Main responsibilities:


  • Communicating directly with our care management team and nurse at the head office.
  • Assistance with bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Providing basic care relating to clients’ ADLs and IADL’s
  • Giving status updates and feedback to the family
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with walking, exercise, and mobility
  • Able to communicate in English.


Requirements and working conditions: Valid First Aid / CPR certification


  • Minimum 2 professional references
  • Must have passion and experience caring for the elderly
  • Must have Driving License
  • Clear Criminal Reference Check
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
  • Dynamic, punctual, reliable, optimistic, courteous and proactive


Working conditions: Position: Mon-Fri 0900-0200; Status: Part time
