Our Finance Department has an opportunity in our Payroll Department as a Payroll Specialist in the Head Office location.

The right individual will be working towards a National Payroll Certification and possess two years experience in the accounting and payroll field.

Key Responsibilities:

oReconcile & balance various general ledger payroll accounts

oProcess bi-weekly payroll using a computerized system

oKnowledge of ADP workforce would be an asset

oProcess quarterly bonus

oProcess monthly commissions

Skills & Qualifications:

• Self starter.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to establish and maintain co-operative and harmonious working relations with other employees, as necessitated by work assignments.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Excellent keyboarding skills, proficient in EXCEL spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Payroll rules and labour standards for Saskatchewan
• Ability to key required transactions accurately, correctly and with required speed.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with employees from other departments and offices.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day.
