**Description**

**Position Summary**

The Paint Line Operator will be required to perform tasks involving the powder coat production line and will be required to operate a variety of hand tools. Responsibilities will include loading and unloading an overhead conveyor, regular and consistent quality inspections, and preparing products for shipment.

The Paint Line Operator will be responsible for efficient operation according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

**Responsibilities**

• Perform quality checks on products and parts
• Load and unload aluminum railings and components onto conveyor line
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment
• Operate forklift to help with loading and unloading shipments
• Inserting PVC profile glazing in aluminum railings
• Proper and safe handling of parts
• Other duties as assigned
• Inspect, package and label outgoing shipments

**Knowledge & Skills**

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Physically able to work in hot, cold, and fast paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and effectively able to solve problems and resolve conflicts with team members and customers in a constructive manner.

**Experience**

• Experience safely operating a lift truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Experience completing routine maintenance operations and utilizing hand and power tools is preferred
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

**Education**

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
