Job Description
PRODUCTION OPERATORS


United Rotary Brush is a manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping industries and plow blades. Our Barrie, Ontario manufacturing facility is looking for several 2nd shift Production Operators. Our positions are a great fit for those individuals that take pride in the work to produce quality products to our customers. Pay starts at $18


Production Operators for 2nd shift


Monday - Thursday 3:45 pm - 2:15 am


$1,000 available in Bonuses*


Production Operator Job Summary


Participate in line setup and production of high-volume brushes and brooms. Ensure machines are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines and perform light maintenance and cleaning. Perform work that is within safety and quality guidelines.


Production Operator Duties And Responsibilities


  • Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company polices at all times, in all actions
  • Produce, package, and label all product to quality and manufacturing specifications at required production rates.


PRODUCTION OPERATOR Education And Skills


  • Knowledge of production procedures with ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Note: A $500.00 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 3 months of continuous employment with United Rotary Brush in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment in their current qualified position will receive another $500.00 bonus. The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. Details of this program will be discussed at time of hire.
  • Ability and judgement to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees.
  • Regular attendance and ability to be at work regularly and on time is essential.
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent work experience.
