We are looking for experienced packers to join our distribution team in Surrey, BC on a temporary full time basis.
Our distribution center located in Surrey, BC is the largest production, manufacturing and wholesaler of cutting edge, high quality lighting pieces across Canada and the United States. As the Packer you will be responsible for Inputting 3 small boxes into one master box, following company safety rules, safety procedures and security protocol and keep work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times. The ideal candidate for this role would bring previous experience in a like-minded facility or position, proficiency in packing, packaging, regular stock transfer, RF scanner and inventory control while adhering to safety procedures ensuring a safe working environment. This position requires pro-longed standing, lifting, pushing, bending, pulling and lifting requirements of up to 35 pounds.

This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start date
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shifts: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Wage: $20/HR
Location: Surrey, BC

Responsibilities
Inputting 3 small boxes into one master box; packing orders accurately and efficiently
Double check accuracy of outbound shipments; inventory counts
Receiving all in bound shipments; quality assurance and inspection of for damages
Packing outbound shipments to company standard
Inventory counts, reporting inaccuracies
Maintain and operate equipment in a safe manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment; daily organization
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Safe and mindful operation of forklifts on site
Qualifications
You bring previous experience in a like-minded facility or position
Proficiency in picking, packing, packaging, regular stock transfer, RF scanner and inventory control required
You have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude when working individually or as a team
Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
The right candidate will have a positive attitude, up beat energy and is comfortable to be trained on new processes
Can meet physical requirements of the role; ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 35lbs
Can stand, push, bend and lift for 8 hours shifts
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located in the Surrey region
