Job Description
We are hiring for several packer positions for a busy production facility located in Burnaby, BC for an immediate start!
As a coffee packer, you will be responsible for packing coffee following established standards using a precise scale loader and sealer with a vacuum. If you are love coffee, a team player, and detail oriented, this job is for you!
What you need to know:
Location: Burnaby, BC (Transit Accessbile)
Pay Rate: $17.94
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 4:30pm
Steel toed shoes required
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Pack coffee following established standards using precise scale loader and sealer with
vacuum/nitrogen
  • Tracking of packed amounts
  • Labeling packaging (perfectly aligned)
  • After 6 months of training, be able to accurately and efficiently enter packed amounts in ERP
  • Maintain a clean packing area
  • Assist with loading whole beans to either blending table or directly to scale loader
  • Organize and label packed coffee
  • Ensure prelabeled packaging is organized
system (Acumatica) and adjust sealer and scale loader
Qualifications
  • Ability to see a project through from beginning to end while demonstrating the ability to both
  • Basic MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Word would be an asset
multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Positive outlook and ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
