Job Description
Are you an IT - Software Developer - Java looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?
We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: IT - Software Developer - Java
Start: ASAP
Estimated length: 7 months
Location: Toronto
Hybrid remote work, 2 days a week onsite

Responsibilities
Experience as a Software Engineer / Developer delivering scalable and high throughput project
Qualifications
7+ years of Java development
5+ years experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JDBC
5+ years of experience in REST API design and Testing
3+ years experience with JMS, MQ, MS SQL, DB2
3+ years of Agile development / Business feature development experience
Azure or cloud based deployment experience.
Java / SpringBoot or similar technologies
RESTful APIs
Ability to deconstruct requirements into sizeable work tasks
Ability to communicate with non-technical members of the team
Effective time and task management skills, including the ability to manage concurrent deliverables
Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently as well as within a team
Creative problem-solving skills
Readiness and motivation (as a Senior / Lead Developer) to address and resolve complex and multi-faceted development-related issues, often independently
Ability to work autonomously in a lead capacity on a diverse range of activities (e.g. design, support of technical business solutions) and can be relied on to coach, educate and monitor work of others
Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables.
Nice to have
Frontend development experience in Angular/React, etc.
Junit testing / Mockito
Tools: BitBucket (Git), Maven, Jenkins
