  • Track maintenance spending/operating department spending vs. budget in the assigned area.
  • Review T-28, T-21, T-14, T-7, T-3, T-1 on shutdown planning to make sure it is going according to process. Make sure any contracted work is well coordinated and planned (by asking a lot of questions). Know details around shutdown execution and plans by times.
  • Responsible for Safety in the assigned area. Follow up with planned work order scheduling to address Hazard Recognition items. Be highly involved in the BBS program.
  • Work with the planner/supervisor to set schedule for upcoming week. Work with Reliability Leader to make sure we are prioritizing reliability work.
  • Collect and process the Operator Basic Care round sheets to determine and discuss issues that are “around the corner”, and to make sure vibe pens, temperature shots, and readings are being taken and recorded by the operators. Turn Basic Care notifications into Work Orders and make sure the Planner is planning the work that needs to be done and added to the schedule.
  • Fill in for APM/Superintendent on relief basis.
  • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate work execution.
  • Responsible for assistance with RI’s and RCFA process.
  • Interface with the operators on a daily basis. Find out what they are having chronic problems with and make sure they are writing these down on log sheets/basic care rounds. Also make sure to follow up that these are being addressed through the MWS process.
  • Approve all break-ins to the weekly/daily schedule. Review Break-In/Emergency work and responsible for maintaining Schedule Adherence > 90%.
