We are recruiting a team member to contribute to the growth of CWP Energy Solutions. This individual will work in collaboration with the President and the sales team. The role title will be determined on the experience the person will be bringing to the team and will be based in Montreal.

What are the key responsibilities?

• Build financial projections and deal proposals
• Support the closing of deals and the contractual negotiation
• Develop a deep understanding of the power trading business
• Prepare and review pitch decks
• Identify and research leads for the CWP Energy solutions team
• Contribute to the development of products, services of innovative solutions for the renewable energy markets
• Conduct market research on industry and market trends and tailor approach to remain competitive

What profiles are we looking for?

• You have a commercial acumen and great presentation skills
• You are based in or willing to relocate to Montreal
• You are a data enthusiast and is able / willing to learn to program such as SQL
• You hold or enrolled in a CPA and/or CFA title
• You are fluent in both English and French (writing and verbally)
• You have a master’s degree in business or finance
• You have 3 years or plus of experience in investment banking or the financial sector

Responsabilités clés:

• Effectuer des recherches sur les tendances de l'industrie et du marché et adapter notre approche pour rester compétitifs
• Soutenir la clôture des transactions et la négociation contractuelle
• Identifier et rechercher des clients potentiels pour l'équipe CWP Energy Solutions
• Préparer et revoir les présentations
• Développer une connaissance approfondie du trading d'électricité
• Construire des projections financières et des propositions de transactions commerciales
• Contribuer au développement de produits, services et solutions innovantes pour les marchés de l'énergie renouvelable

Profil recherché:

• Tu maîtrise parfaitement l'anglais et le français (à l'oral et à l'écrit)
• Tu as un bon sens commercial et de bonnes compétences de présentation
• Tu possèdes au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le secteur financier ou bancaire
• Tu es basé à Montréal ou tu es disposé à s'y relocaliser
• Tu détiens ou est inscrit à un titre CPA et/ou CFA
• Tu as un diplôme de maîtrise en affaires ou en finance
• Tu es passionné de données et est capable/disposé à apprendre à programmer des outils comme SQL
