Working Arrangement
Hybrid

This role can be hybrid out of the Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver areas.
As a National Education Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the plan sponsor relationship and owning the communication strategy and education initiatives for their savings and retirement program.
This includes but is not limited to managing education for plan changes, financial wellness campaigns, and various other communication for our large / jumbo clients. You may also be called upon to support the presale process (RFPs and shortlists).
Responsibilities
  • Consulting: Develop a strategy and recommend communications to drive engagement and participation by (1) listening to the client and understanding their objectives (2) analyzing the member behavior and (3) bringing insight from experience and best practices.
  • Project management: Oversee and complete the plan and timeline, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and actively managing client expectations and pivoting as issues arise
  • Communications: Draft communications and create presentations to help clients meet their fiduciary responsibilities as well as their wellness objectives.
  • Relationship management: Primary contact for the client when it comes to the member experience and member communications.

What We Are Looking For
  • Superior planning and project management skills with a proven ability to negotiate, pivot and problem solve, and complete with tight timeframes
  • Superior relationship management skills with a focus on service excellence and the proven ability to influence and win over trust and confidence
  • Understanding of group retirement products and retirement savings / investment tools, pension industry in Canada a plus, and/or willingness to learn and to complete RPA designation
  • Bilingual language skills would be an asset
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presenter with proven ability to deliver high impact presentations (shortlist presentation or presenting education strategy at pension committee meetings)

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Calgary, Alberta
Salary range is expected to be between
$68,775.00 CAD - $114,625.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
