As the Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) Post Merger Integration (PMI) Associate, you will be at the forefront of driving and overseeing the integration of IT Managed Service Providers (MSP’s) following an acquisition into F12.net. You will support the Integration Management Office (IMO), serving as the central point of control and coordination for all due diligence and integration activities. This role requires exceptional project planning, leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex challenges across various functional areas.


The candidate for this role can be located out of Edmonton, AB, Calgary, AB or Markham, ON.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standardized processes for M&A integration within the organization.
  • Work closely with leadership to define post-integration performance and financial metrics and track the progress of integration initiatives.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and provide actionable solutions to mitigate risks and ensure a smooth integration process.
  • Conduct thorough assessments (due diligence) of acquired companies' operations, systems, and processes to identify integration opportunities, challenges, and risks.
  • Provide support in post-merger analysis, evaluating the effectiveness of integration efforts and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between different departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integration strategies for newly acquired companies.
  • Travel will be expected as part of the role.
  • Assist in creating detailed integration plans, outlining key milestones, tasks, and responsibilities, while managing timelines and dependencies.


Who You Are

  • Strong understanding of merger and acquisition processes, with a focus on post-merger integration.
  • Exceptional ability in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A integration, management consulting, IT consulting, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools, collaboration software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise, Datto PSA, Netsuite, Hubspot, BrightGuage, RMM, and other third party tools are a plus.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Previous MSP experience would be considered an asset.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
