About us

Technovision Engineering Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering firm located in Scarborough, ON. We do engineering design for residential and commercial customers. We also provide engineering and project management services to multiunit residential sector. We are looking a self-driven, detail oriented and energetic candidate to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site visit reports
• Ability to manage multiple project works simultaneously.
• Engage in facilities condition assessment tasks as directed
• Visit project sites to sketch and measure existing setups in order to create as-built drawings.
• Other duties as assigned
• Perform HVAC systems load calculations for residential and commercial projects.
• Read and understand manufacturer’s literature
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, schedules and hand sketches/drawings to understand design intent.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings as per sketches and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Drafting experience in commercial and / or multi-story residential projects will be considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD (training certificate will be considered an asset)
• Proficient in MS-Office environment (word, excel, power point)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have own vehicle and a clean driving record
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes is an asset
• Time management skills
• Education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• High level of detail.
• Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from the project lead.

Pay:$20 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Duration:6 months (with possibilities of extension)
