has partnered with our client, a fast-growing automation company of automated equipment.
They are a team of talented, passionate engineers, with a flexible and casual culture. Now they’re looking for you: their new Mechanical Assembler to join their growing team.
What you will be doing: As their new Mechanical Assembler - you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible to assemble, installation, troubleshooting, and service of custom automation equipment for various industry types.
Technically speaking, you will:
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
  • Prepare finished products and assemblies for shipment
  • Work with a team to assemble entire automation cells or components
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Monitor and maintain shop stock and supplies
  • Installation and service of assembly cells
The Details
  • This is a full-time permanent position for 8 hours day shifts Monday to Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will be based in the client’s Barrie location.

What you will bring:
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Experienced with Pneumatic circuits
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly blueprints, etc.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related mechanical fields
Strong assets:
  • Forklift experience
  • Experienced in 3D CAD
  • Millwright license
